An interesting read..

Found a pretty interesting read from this article here that explains what features of your looks describe your character.. Sound bizzare, I know, but its kinda interesting and true so far.. hahaha! The ones in bold represent my characters! Leave a note whether u agree or disagree!

My characters
Eyes
One way to analyze the eyes is to figure out whether you have wide-set or narrow-set eyes. Look at the space between your eyes—can you imagine another eye fitting there? The width of that space—narrow (there is no room for another eye), wide (there is plenty of room), or balanced (another eye fits perfectly)—indicates your view of the world.

Narrow: Closed-minded, dependent on others, very focused
Wide: Open-minded, aversion to authority figures, independent
Balanced: Good judgment, a balanced perspective on situations

Eye and eyebrow shape represent your general state of mind as well.
Round or Curved Eyes and/or Eyebrows: Led by emotion, sensitive
Straight Eyes/Eyebrows: Analytical, rational

Ascending Eyes (Eyes Slanted Upward): Positive attitude, focused on goals
Descending Eyes (Eyes Slanted Downward): Tendency toward negativity, vulnerability

Big Nose: Could get too caught up in money
Small Nose: Shy, timid
Wide Nose: Emotional, laid-back
Thin Nose: Tightly-wound, temperamental

Mouth
The shape of your lips offers insight into your role within the relationships you have with others.
Small Lips: Self-involved, stingy, greedy
Large Lips: Giving, affinity for the finer things
Full Lips: Emotional, caring, empathetic
Thin Lips: Logical, introverted, cut off from emotions
Thinner Upper Lip: Selfish, unable to give equally in relationships
Thinner Lower Lip: Excessively generous in relationships

and more from the article.. How's it? :)

btw, I'm back in Malaysia hot and humid weather already!! Missed my car!!!!!!!!! :) Anyone wants to meet up???

He got up.. Standing in the middle of fields, he lifted his head once again and stared at the full moon now, and the sky filled with glittering stars. It was time to go back - he began walking .. and walking.. walking along the narrow dark path, and walked.. - and never did ever stop walking; the dark narrow path alone..

My blog

My blog. My mind. My thoughts.

As another year ends and come to past, I who turn around on a one-way path, turn around and wave a silent goodbye to nothing but my shadow, it seems, such, till the very end..

I've seen the worst of years I have had, thinking about the achievements and failures, thinking about mistakes and things done wrong, thinking about so many things.

--

He reached for the bright almost-full moon illuminating the fields, and as the gentle winds caress his face, he slowly closes his eyes. and he opened his eyes then after, and the moon was gone; gone hidden behind the clouds and the soft and hopeful light faded, and so did his will and spirit as though it was one and the same.

He held a deep breath. He gently shut his eyes and tried to channel the faltering spirit into a boost of motivation and hope with only himself - simply because there is no one else. But a short amount of inspiration will not solve a lifetime's worth of starvation, and he starts to lose the battle.

And lose he will..

Finally, some air to breath again..

Abdullah: ‘Anyone can be PM’

Yeah... I'm sure..

Anyways exams are over for another sem!!!!!!!! yeah.. but i dun wana go back so fast... :( sighs! Lotsa headache still with the monash faculty people.. Why cant they make both our lives easier!!

Sigh. Anyway I had the most decent sleep I have had in seemingly ages.. A sigh of relief, a sigh of sadness, a sigh of every emotion out there, I'm not all happy jumpy and all too eager to celebrate - but rather just relief, like a long bad dream ends..

Anyway I think I've decided I'll transfer to Australia next year no matter the outcome for which campus.. I suppose that helps solve alot of problems for now.. Gonna cross my fingers for next week - when I might be able to know my answer if the ombudsman likes me..

WTH?

Malacca may give RM1,000 to men who take them as second wives

MARRIED men in Malacca may receive RM1,000 from the state government if they choose to take poor, single mothers as second wives, reported Harian Metro

The daily quoted Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam, who made the proposal, as stressing that the incentive would be given on condition, among others, that the men do not divorce their first wives.

He said the move was not to encourage polygamy but to ease the burden of single mothers who are dependent on welfare aid from various parties.

“The matter is still being considered. The state government will decide following discussions with various parties, including the Malacca Islamic Religious Department, Women and Family Development Council and Welfare Department,” he said.

In an effort to curb social ills such as illicit sex and Mat Rempit, Mohd Ali said the state government would consider giving a similar incentive to youths who get married before 30.

“Currently, young women have been discovered to have illegitimate children, tarnishing the image of Islam and that of their families.”

An insult to single mothers

I AM utterly disgusted by the report “Malacca may give RM1,000 to men who take them as second wives” (The Star, Nov 1).

The move is tantamount to selling off a single mother for the price of a mere RM1,000.

I lost my father when I was four months old. My mum was never that desperate that she wished to re-marry. To me, she is the greatest mum in the world. She is tough, kind, patient and determined.

Needless to say, my mum was very disappointed with the report.

The decision by the Malacca Government is an insult to all single mums, especially those living in Malacca. They perceive every single mother is desperate to re-marry. And this move will only encourage polygamy among men in Malacca.

The Malacca Government may have good intentions in making the suggestion but it must understand that single mothers are not stocks that can simply be sold off.

Single mothers, just like everyone out there, have dignity. What single mothers really want is to live a quiet life and bring up their children well so that they will eventually be able to take good care of her.

I truly believe that single mums are tougher and I urge the Malacca Government to seriously re-consider the move.

There are more hard-pressed matters to focus on during this time of recession. If the Malacca Government has so much money, why not give the RM1,000 or more directly to all the single mums in Malacca?

Sometimes you just cannot imagine what runs through people's head before they come up wid such "brilliant" ideas (1st article)..

This fella's idea to curb Mat Rempit is to give them money to get married??????????

Absurd and downright ridiculous, aint it?? But then again, perhaps we all know the real issue behind this, do we not?

I agree wholeheartedly to the comments given by Chuah..

DB's Celebrity Golfer Cavalcade, starring Charles Barkley

It's the slow season, so here at Devil Ball we're looking at more than just the PGA Tour. That's right, there is golf beyond Tiger! (Not much, but still.) And today, we kick off DB's Celebrity Golfer Cavalcade with the most famous non-golfing golfer alive. Ladies and gentlemen, cover your heads and hide your children; Charles Barkley is on the tee.

His deal: Barkley is an NBA Hall of Famer, the onetime "Round Mound of Rebound" who's now an analyst for TNT. He's one of the most outspoken athletes ever, and also one of the funniest. Oh, and he's often seen these days carving up the most exclusive golf courses of America.

Handicap: Infinite.

Breakdown of his game: Barkley is just an awful golfer. (I'd say "turrible," but that's already gone beyond hack.) Seriously, he seems to have no idea what he's doing out there, particularly when he's at the tee. He yanks back his driver like he's pulling it out of a pot of taffy, holds it above his head for a long second, then ducks down and swings at the ball like he's trying to beat a squirrel to death. I'm serious, it's unbelievable.

On the other hand, you'll never ever find a better member in your foursome. So he's got that going for him.

Tour prospects: For a golfer, Barkley's a great announcer. Or basketball player. Or competitive eater. Or anything but a golfer.

In action: Check out this shot of Barkley on the tee for all you'll ever need to know about his game.

Sweet mother of mercy. I've seen smoother swings on playgrounds in bombed-out war zones.
