Money is the root of all problems..

Kay I need not say less.. I nid money and probably more and more money.. Without it, dun u just feel so worthless? U cant get anything, buy anything, always restricted by the fact that u dun have money.. I'm no doubt troubled by it, as though 19 years of living feels abit d worthless cuz I cant afford lunch d soon... No its not my spending habits.. I dont spend on clothes, food, shoes, games, or anything.. in fact, all my money goes to basic lunch, and, occsaionally presents and outings.. which is rare enuf d..

So yeah, next year plans are made to go Australia d, the visa stuff is abit clearer now after spending hours going thru d immigration website, but is extremely troublesome... can u imagine? nid to apply to clear that u dont have a criminal record.. (its understandable but for heaven's sake, im a 19year old student.. how many 'crimes' could i possibly commmit.. ), then .. i dun even know where to start.. its so many troublesome things.. apply for skills assesment.. the job u nominate must be of certain points.. health checks (dun get me started on this), etc etc etc...

A little bit of too much..

Heyz firstly, a good take care and farewell to those who are going back to the UK, and those who have just left, namely Porhai, Zhiyi, Kevin, Arthur! Best wishes to you guys, and gals!

Life's in a bit of a little mess.. Or rather just my head.. Feels like scrambled egg, everything feels not right, and abit of lethargicness, lack of interest in accounting (always have been perhaps) etc etc.. Somehow I can get exhausted sitting in half a lecture..

Maybe things are moving in a direction faster I can manage.. I mean, so many people leaving for all around the world, literally, d furthest being evil dr saw.. i'm tempted to spam her phone with msgs and misscalls at 3pm here (3am dere).. =) *she never offs her phone*

Even dota seem to have lost its sparkle.. of cuz, perhaps losing about 5 times in a row now would be one of the factors I think.. Out of planning not to go Australia till the final year, suddenly there's a rush to go australia by next year and all.. application was rushed, and finally submitted today, which is the due date..

I think I'll be calling the high comm soon to seek clarification.. stay 2 years can get temp working visa.. sth like that.. anyone can confirm this for me wud be sooooooo good..

A couple of days ago, at McD ss15 I kinda found a wallet, with the car keys.. =.= for the 1 hour I sat there d poor guy/gal did not come to get back his items.. i mean, where can u go without ur car keys? don't u ever think of looking back at the place u sat? I gave it to the counter without thinking.. Now that I thought it over, I should have seen it given back to the owner personally.. There was money and all, and now that I think it over, it cud have been taken by the McD ppl also.. ah a moment of regret, but nothing I can do now I suppose.. Having just lost my own wallet lately, I would know how it feels..

I'm a little lost. Point me to a direction, and lit my path.. or I shall be standing here unmoving for a long, long, time.. Everything around me has been cold and dark.. for too long and too far.. may times change for the better..

Random Picture: isnt' she seriously just cute? and to think I'm her cousin.. =) Alyssa's the name..

Random Picture 2: Alyssa again.. this pic abit d blur, but shows a cuter face :P

Letter to a bank

You should see this XD.. got it thru email..

-------------------------------------------------
A 98 year old woman in the UK wrote this to her bank. The bank manager thought it amusing enough to have it published in the Times.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to thank you for bouncing my cheque with which I endeavoured to pay my plumber last month. By my calculations, three 'nanoseconds' must have elapsed between his presenting the cheque and the arrival in my account of the funds needed to honour it. I refer, of course, to the automatic monthly deposit of my Pension, an arrangement, which, I admit, has been in place for only thirty eight years. You are to be commended for seizing that brief window of opportunity, and also for debiting my account £30 by way of penalty for the inconvenience caused to your bank.

My thankfulness springs from the manner in which this incident has caused me to rethink my errant financial ways. I noticed that whereas I personally attend to your telephone calls and letters, when I try to contact you, I am confronted by the impersonal, overcharging, pre-recorded, faceless entity which your bank has become. From now on, I, like you, choose only to deal with a flesh-and-blood person.

My mortgage and loan payments will therefore and hereafter no longer be automatic, but will arrive at your bank by cheque, addressed personally and confidentially to an employee at your bank whom you must nominate. Be aware that it is an offence under the Postal Act for any other person to open such an envelope. Please find attached an Application Contact Status which I require your chosen employee to complete. I am sorry it runs to eight pages, but in order that I know as much about him or her as your bank knows about me, there is no alternative. Please note that all copies of his or her medical history must be countersigned by a Solicitor, and the mandatory details of his/her financial situation (income, debts, assets and liabilities) must be accompanied by documented proof.

In due course, I will issue your employee with PIN number which he/she must quote in dealings with me. I regret that it cannot be shorter than 28 digits but, again, I have modelled it on the number of button presses required of me to access my account balance on your phone bank service. As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Let me level the playing field even further. When you call me, press buttons as follows:

1 - To make an appointment to see me.

2 - To query a missing payment.

3 - To transfer the call to my living room in case I am there.

4 - To transfer the call to my bedroom in case I am sleeping.

5 - To transfer the call to my toilet in case I am attending to nature.

6 - to transfer the call to my mobile phone if I am not at home.

7 - To leave a message on my computer (a password to access my computer is required. A password will be communicated to you at a later date to the Authorized Contact.)

8 - To return to the main menu and to listen to options 1 through to 8.

9 - To make a general complaint or inquiry, the contact will then be put on hold, pending the attention of my automated answering service. While this may, on occasion, involve a lengthy wait, uplifting music will play for the duration of the call.

Regrettably, but again following your example, I must also levy an establishment fee to cover the setting up of this new arrangement.

May I wish you a happy, if ever so slightly less prosperous, New
Year.

Your Humble Client

Bon Voyage..

We're all about the age where we start seeing people we know go off one by one, scattered across d world.. many from high school has left, and now even ppl closer are leaving.. Never thought u'd be gone so fast but guess it wud have been inevitable..

As with her friends and family, we sent off Rachel Saw, many of whom who read this blog know not of her.. She's one of the Cuban scholarship recepients you've probably read in the papers, doing medicine for 6 years.. The dam flight ticket is so expensive that she isn't planning to fly back from there for d whole duration wei... A couple of round trips can buy u cars.. so sad.. perhaps if AirAsia were to start flyin to Cuba, that wud be a different situation..

So ya! study hard wei.. I look forward to a lifetime supply of free medical checkups from ya..

*Pics stolen off Wen Jun's blog - near complete cut and paste =p gomen i didnt bring camera*

u can't miss that blur look..

KLIA 500m ahead.

Entrance to KLIA.

Moving from car park to the departure terminal.

Inside KLIA.

30Kg of luggage!

Last meal before flight.

Off she go..

With best regards, take care of yourself..

Random words

It takes a minute to have a crush on someone,
An hour to like someone,
A day to love someone,
but a lifetime to forget someone.
