Russell Peters World Tour Malaysia @ 11 May 12!

OH YEAH! I missed his first show in Melbourne mere months after I had left, and initially thought I would miss this show as well after Ticketcrappro screwed up. If ticketpro was a physical ticket stall stand I felt like kicking it down and trashing it.

Luckily a second show was held and this time I went with Redtix, courtesy of a friend ;).

It was a bit pretty much fucking retarded. Even after you printed out the so called e-ticket after buying them, you still had to queue the hell up to get the "real" tickets. So hordes and hordes of ppl had to queue just to get their tickets although they already had printed ones.

After which they had to queue the second time to get into the place. Note the single, sad, and freaking SMALL tent in the middle with fan. By now after queuing up in the first queue, most ppl were hot and sweating. This is freaking Malaysia, where organisers are retarded.

Single, and pretty much only poster that showed that we were not in the wrong place.

And then there was bag inspection. Old uncles were hagging and pretty much harassing everyone. Immediately after the gate was the seating arrangement. Like 1 meter in front of the gate doors, they put a poster. Most ppl would stop n check where they are seating, causing an unnecessary traffic congestion at the gate entrance. Again, organisers lack any common sense or logic whatsoever.

The "real" tickets.
Felt like a club inside a basketball stadium.
Concrete stairs were total darkness and felt like some dodgy club joint in the middle of downtown KL. No lights lit the stairs. I wonder if someone fell and tripped, can they sue? Anyway once entered, all my complaints flew out the window. Woww, it felt like entering a huge ass club at first.

And then the show started. No one was allowed to record, take pics, or even text, and the organisers were very efficient into stopping people from texting. The show itself was awesome, hilarious, and funny. I wouldn't have the same impact trying to even imitate Russell Peters, so I won't even try.

Finally over, we had dinner and drinks at Asia Cafe, and a good awesome night anyway ;)

Logging off,
