Prom post! Haha.. Its quite been a long awaited day, which for me did not start that well.. Hint hint to those responsible.. Haha.. I fetched 4 gals whom i found hard to recognize, even if i'm supposed to have been classmates with for the entire year.. But, girls will be girls.. Makeup n all.. More than an hour over the meeting time.. Sitting and waiting and doing absolutely nothing for over 1 hour is absolutely terrible..
As for me, i dressed quite the same as before, its not like i have any other shirts or formal wear.. But this time, without the tie, also an advice from a friend.. Finally, sze vien decided to show up at 7.05, after much frustration.. Haha.. Sorry la.. Not keen on being late any longer, i must admit i was rather er.. fast on the road.. Haha.. I picked up the remaining 3 gals from cheer ray's house, she herself, yi jun and suat neo.. The difference between dressed up and otherwise, is so big.. =) decipher your own meaning..
So, zoom zoom to pyramid then, and carelessly, there was this sign pointing to the hotel carpark.. How i supposed to know the pyramid tower was considered a hotel as well.. Didnt even know bout it.. We ended up in the convention center area carpark.. When we took the lift, we ended up in the mall! Drawing stares from all directions while trying to find the right place.. I believe it was yi jun who got us to the right place at last.. Talk about my dependable sense of direction.. Haih..
Once we got to the right building finally, i noticed we're not the only one lost or late.. Haha.. See ppl talkin over the phones, looking for lifts.. Etc etc.. Finally found a lift, 15th floor.. Reached! Validate our ids, tickets, n chopped some thing on our hands.. Turned out quite useless since there r always some bunch of ppl going in and out at all times.. And at certain times, there r more ppl outside than inside..
The other ppl in our table, table 28, is derek, marvin, Kyth, sim yee, Audrey, n myself.. Plus the 4 gals i drove.. As like most proms, performance, and MCs, and prom kings and queens.. Though, i can't hear much wat the MCs say, not know who the prom kings n queens r. and i daresay, it was the one ppl paid the least attention to.. The food was definately more worthy of our attention, since we sat so far away from the stage n couldn't see who was being nominated in the first place..
It is without a doubt that the performance 'dance history 101' was the best performance, done by previous graduated sam students.. It was great laughter n fun watchin them.. Regret not videoing it..
I always seem to have too high an expectation for prom nights.. Me and only me it seems.. Oh well, I dun think its something I should elaborate.. not like I havent.. haha.. nth, nvm.. oh, before I forget, the other 10 ppl at table 1 are yin siang, shuen sze, joyce, sher yen, hong yu, chung siong, wei sheng, wee kiat, wing hoe and xue rui..
In the end I still had an enjoyable time, with great company.. Then the gals all wan go yum cha... wonder what place still open at 12 midnight.. never knew there existed a place dam big.. one station.. lol.. before we went there, we again got lost tryin to find our way back to the car.. man im hopeless...haha.. it was a very enjoyable night, I thank everyone, and I wish u good luck and best wishes! To all of k3! i'd miss u all.. I'd miss SAM.. the teachers.. except one of cuz.. keep in touch.. will probably see again the day we collect our results.. K3, best of luck, keep in touch!
